Phony Express was commissioned to decorate Columbus recreation centers for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services' VERB Campaign to motivate age 9 - 13 year olds to become more active. Over 7000 balloons went into creating action figures and words such as "Leap", "Kick" & "Run". |

Election Night 2002
Balloons By Phony Express was commissioned to create the election night victory celebration balloon drop for the Ohio Republican Party. Governor Taft and Lt. Governor Bradley are shown here in the midst of the colorful patriotic balloons. The drop came at the finale of the evening's festivities, and appeared on television as well as in the local newspaper. |

Northland Town Center
Our colorful columns became the backdrop for Mayor Michael Coleman and the Columbus Urban Growth Corporation's announcement of the redevelopment of the Northland Mall for new community uses. TV, radio & newspaper coverage focused on the balloons, which reflected the Northland area High School colors. |

The Tiger Woods Junior Golf Clinic & Exhibition
The atmosphere was electric as 3000 guests were set to arrive at 11AM, including the Governor of Ohio, the Mayor of Columbus, and celebrity golfer Tiger Woods. Phony Express began setup in a thunderstorm before 7AM to decorate tents, bleachers, entry way, walkways and country club entrances. All decorations were in place and the weather began to clear as the guests arrived at this charity fund raiser for the Tiger Woods Foundation. |

Public Television's ever popular "Purple Dinosaur" graces the stage in an Earth Day celebration for 15,000 youngsters. Phony Express' fantasy stage set included a giant tree, rainbow with cloud, fantasy flowers, and a hand-painted 5 foot revolving Earth balloon.
